*Star Wars theme plays* A long, long time ago in a garage of all places, before AI created strange-looking cats or a TikTok in a Tesco stack, there was a battle between a window and an apple. Their names were Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. Steve Jobs, the rockstar of software and tech, and Bill Gates, a boy full of wonder, fueled with genius and spreadsheets. Who takes a bite out of Steve Jobs. During the show, there is rivalry, ambition, fame, and a whole lot of I wanna get down and nerdy.

As this was a MTfest, the costumes weren't as rich or billionaire as this was the 80's, so just nerdy, awkward geeks. But the cast brought them out. I mean, maybe Steve Jobs wearing flip-flops took flying high a little too far, but it added so much. The cast worked as a team even when the show went slightly to Error 1001, but that's what made the show slightly better—some improvisation.

For me, there were a few standout roles. Kane Oliver Parry as Steve Jobs really

Embodied the whole persona of an egotistical rockstar, even when he was trying to sing a very me, me, me song and his sandal went flying into the audition vs the emotions sung during emailing Jesus.

Another mention has to be Iván; his little mannerisms for each of his roles were interesting to watch. The layers of each character made the performance feel authentic and layered. Whether it was the way the characters carried themselves or the more subtle hint of body language. His face gave depth to each one.

The pacing was different due to it being a MTfest and the cast having scripts in hand, the show also hadn't had a full run. As we were the first audience, they had announced that the show hadn't done a full run. I feel that if they hadn't told us, it wouldn't have been obvious as a theatre-goer, as mistakes are bound to be made with any live performance.

The show started up and continued to be a comedy throughout the pages. This was emphasized by the writing and dialogue that the actors brought to life.

I personally am not a person who looks at software or uses software such as a laptop and thinks of the people behind it, but this show was very enjoyable and fun to watch. The audience around me also enjoyed the show and the storyline. The comedic timing works very well throughout the show.

The show uses the idea that Steve Jobs' health is a metaphor for a computer, the idea that Bill Gates is all about focus and function compared to Steve who is more

The Other Palace's closest tube station is Victoria, which is step-free. The Other Palace has accessibility toilets as well as other measures such as earplugs and content warnings and trigger warnings of the shows on the doors. They are also really easy to contact. When you're in the studio, you can email for early access if you require it. The staff are all very polite and easy to talk to. Seats are different in the studio due to first comes first serve with the seat which is why first access makes seating for the studio easier.
